A 30-foot ode to
football fandom.

To celebrate their 95th birthday, Umbro wanted to do something special on their home turf of Manchester. So reached out on social media to ask the city’s famously passionate fans a question: ‘What does football mean to you?’.Their responses became the basis of this beautiful Northern Quarter mural. A public artwork as stunning as a stoppage-time screamer. The mural marked the culmination of a long-running Umbro campaign based on real football in all its wild, imperfect and unbeatable glory.
